Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services
 

BHRS provides help to families that have children with a mental health diagnosis. The purpose of the program is to help the child and the family so they may function in a setting (home, school, community) where they may otherwise experience behavioral or emotional problems.

Services that are available through this program include;

  • Specialized Therapeutic Staff Support (STSS)
    • Addresses problematic behavior
    • Works with victims of sexual abuse or those who are acting out sexually
  • Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC)
    • observes client's behavior in various settings adn develops a plan

Who Should Be Referred?

  • Children ages 2 through 18
  • Must have a mental health diagnosis
  • Recommendation from a psychiatrist or licensed psychologist
  • Medical Assistance eligible

This is available to Crawford County residents and individuals from adjacent counties will be considered. If a prior evaluation has not been done, the client/family will be provided a current list of Value Behavioral Health approved independent perscribers to schedule an evaluation appointment.
