Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services
BHRS provides help to families that have children with a mental health diagnosis. The purpose of the program is to help the child and the family so they may function in a setting (home, school, community) where they may otherwise experience behavioral or emotional problems.
Services that are available through this program include;
- Specialized Therapeutic Staff Support (STSS)
- Addresses problematic behavior
- Works with victims of sexual abuse or those who are acting out sexually
- Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC)
- observes client's behavior in various settings adn develops a plan
Who Should Be Referred?
- Children ages 2 through 18
- Must have a mental health diagnosis
- Recommendation from a psychiatrist or licensed psychologist
- Medical Assistance eligible
This is available to Crawford County residents and individuals from adjacent counties will be considered. If a prior evaluation has not been done, the client/family will be provided a current list of Value Behavioral Health approved independent perscribers to schedule an evaluation appointment.
Who Should Make The Referral?
- Value Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania must make the referral
- Evaluation is required
