Supporting Opportunities For Achievement and Resiliency (PROJECT S.O.A.R)
 

Project S.O.A.R. is a school-based Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Service provided to children in the Penncrest Area School District (Cambridge Springs Elementary and Middle School) who are experiencing emotional and or behavioral difficulties in the home, school and community settings.

Services that are available on site through the school day with this project include:

  • Ongoing assessment throughout the school day
  • Addresses problematic behavior
  • Family coordinator monitors some, school and communtiy treatent goals

Who Should Be Referred?

  • Youth K - 9th grade
  • Attendance in the Penncrest School District
  • Mental health diagnosis
  • If a prior evaluation has not been done, the youth/family will be provided a current list of Value Behavioral Health approved independent presribers to schedule an appointment
  • Youth not able to be maintained in their educational setting without on site mental health support
  • Youth is medical assistance eligible
  • At least one parent/caregiver with whom the youth resides consents to SOAR treatment

  • Evalutaion required
  • Value Behavioral Health must make the Referral
